In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 music and audio apps in Portugal demonstrated varied performances in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a consistent performance throughout Q2. Weekly revenue saw a peak of around $13.8K in early May, followed by a slight dip and stabilizing at approximately $11.5K towards the end of June. Downloads remained steady with minor fluctuations, averaging around 10.5K per week. Active users showed a slight increase from 2.53M at the start of April to 2.62M by the end of June.

Music Player & MP3 - DDMusic experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 3.9K in early April and dropping to 3.8K by the end of June. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, increasing from 11.7K to 14.2K over the same period.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts displayed a consistent weekly revenue, fluctuating slightly around the $50 to $60 mark. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 6.2K in early April and dipping to 4.6K mid-June before rising again to 5.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around the 340K mark.

Simply Sing: My Singing App saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at $439 in early April and reaching a peak of $1.5K by mid-June. Downloads also surged from 1K at the beginning of the quarter to 6K towards the end. Active users followed a similar trajectory, rising from 2.9K to 7.3K.

Learn Piano - Real Keyboard showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 1.3K in early April and climbing to 2.6K by the end of June. Active users increased from 7.5K to 10.4K over the quarter.
